Blue Chip, the IT specialist, is celebrating after General Manager of Microsoft Learning, Lutz Ziob, took a special detour to the UK on his way back from South Africa to Seattle to deliver a number of bottles of champagne to its Southampton-based training centre, congratulating the company on considerable growth in delivering Microsoft training courses.
Sarah Grace, Partner Account Manager at Microsoft Learning, said: “Blue Chip training has shown amazing growth in a difficult year, with 14% growth in Microsoft Official Curriculum Courses, along with 10.5% growth in Microsoft Certification.”
Blue Chip established specialised training centres in both Southampton and Leeds in response to high demand from clients and industry professionals seeking to continue their professional development.
The centres have certainly gone from strength to strength, despite the recent economic climate, with over 175 delegates attending per month.
Blue Chip Managing Director, Richard Cook, commented: “We have certainly seen an upturn in training requirements in all technologies as companies either look to up-skill their IT workforce to reduce support costs, or increase productivity, whilst individuals are also looking to undertake specific training for their CVs.
