Leading IT provider, Blue Chip, has announced the renewal of its sponsorship and technology contract with the Rizla Suzuki Motorcycle Grand Prix Team.
The signing comes on the back of a successful three-year sponsorship agreement, with Blue Chip providing world-wide, track-side and race day technical support for the Team, as well as support for its UK-based Head Office in Ringwood.
Blue Chip Managing Director, Richard Cook, said: “We have developed a close and effective working relationship with the Rizla Suzuki MotoGP Team over the last three years and are delighted to continue our sponsorship and support. We look forward to another great year of racing; Suzuki has two great riders in experienced 3-time World Champion man, Loris Capirossi, and the newly signed Spanish rider Álvaro Bautista, who joins the team for his first year in MotoGP following a successful career in other classes. We look forward to watching their progress and continuing our support for the Team.”
Suzuki Rizla Team Manager, Paul Denning, commented: “At a time when so many sporting sponsorship deals are under very careful financial scrutiny, we are delighted to continue our relationship with Blue Chip. Their valued technical expertise and support has been tried, tested and enhanced over the past three years, so it makes perfect sense to continue the partnership. It’s great to know that they’re behind us doing what they’re good at, so we can concentrate on the racing.”
The MotoGP season starts on April 11 with a night time race at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar.
