Household name, Organix, has relocated to bigger premises in Bournemouth and invested heavily in cutting edge technologies to ensure it maintains its market leading position and high levels of customer service.
With assistance from long-standing IT partner Blue Chip, Organix embarked on a major business development project towards the end of 2009. This involved relocating their HQ to purpose built offices; in conjunction with a technology overhaul which included virtualising their server estate and implementing an IP telephony solution.
These new technologies have reduced the number of Organix servers by two-thirds and are now helping to reduce their carbon emissions, operating costs and IT management overheads. In a competitive market these efficiencies will enable Organix to deliver their commitment to creating better food choices for all.
Kevin Joy, Organix FD comments, “As a business that exists to give children the best start in life, these recent developments mean we can continue with that vision and improve our business. Blue Chip are working with us to restructure our support, seeing us move to a Managed Service agreement for additional support. With fantastic new premises and IT support, 2010 promises to be a great year for us”.
