Blue Chip, the South’s leading IT provider is continuing its live series of interactive road-shows with ‘Disaster Recovery Live’ on the 19th November in Bracknell. This latest event, in conjunction with leading technology companies VMware and EMC, invites businesses from across the South to see how they can survive a complete IT failure - cost effectively.
Until very recently, having real time DR was prohibitively expensive, however, with the advent of virtualisation technology and management tools protecting your business, it is now both achievable and realistic. Never has this been more important with so many businesses relying heavily on their investment in IT to remain competitive.
At Blue Chip’s live demonstration, data will be replicated between sites, servers cloned and the sites failed over using VMware’s Site Recovery Manager and EMC’s storage tools. For those businesses that are focused on having a DR plan in place to reduce risk, maintain customer service and productivity this live event promises to show how DR can be achieve without breaking the bank. To help businesses understand how they can use the technologies experts from VMware and EMC will be on hand for 1-2-1 discussions and Q&A.
Blue Chip’s Technical Director, Sean Matthews, comments “We are pleased to be working with VMware and EMC on something so crucial to businesses as DR. Anyone interested in protecting their organisation’s IT should make space in their diary on the 19th November to see practical and cost effective DR in action”.
