Blue Chip and Cisco host a FOC Network Security Event

6th January 2012

Cisco Premier Partner, Blue Chip, is hosting a free seminar for businesses of any size to find out more about the security issues related to having mobile devices connected to their computer network – whether personal, or corporate issue – and how to ensure their networks are safe.

Anthony Green, Sales Director at Blue Chip said: “As the next generation of employees descend upon businesses bringing smart phones and notebooks into the office, it is more important than ever for businesses to investigate how to deliver seamless, highly secure connectivity to their increasingly mobile and decentralised workforce - without lowering security.

“Our seminar ‘Is your Network ready for Secure Mobile Workers?’ presented in conjunction with Cisco – a global leader in networks - looks at the tools available for today’s most pressing security challenge.  We invite business owners, IT directors and managers, managing directors and anyone involved with IT and the integrity of a business’ information to attend.”

The free of charge seminar on Thursday February 9 will take place at the East Point Centre, Burseldon Road, Southampton, between 12 noon and 3.30pm, covering the growth of consumer devices in the workspace, the associated challenges, and presents Cisco’s leading solutions, including securing Cloud applications.
