Internal Account Manager

Location: Southampton

Blue Chip is looking to recruit an Internal Account Manager to add to its already extensive and rapidly growing support team. You will need to be a highly motivated individual, capable of working on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

The objective of this role is to provide administrative and sales assistance to either a singular or a team of Senior Account Managers. Any individual in this role has to do everything possible to free up the time of their colleagues to give them more time to visit and develop their client base.

This role is ideal for someone with some IT & Sales knowledge as it is an intense learning opportunity for anyone looking to develop a career in IT Sales.

The tasks which an Internal Account Manager are required to complete include (but are not limited to):-

  • Covering for Senior Account Managers when they are out of the office in terms of email inbox, telephone and any other tasks that are required
  • Preparing Sales Quotations
  • Processing Sales Orders
  • Liaising with client base (at the point where the individual is ready for this)
  • Preparation of Customer Proposals & support documentation by way of printing, binding, sending etc
  • Quoting Customer Renewals for products and services, managing & maintaining our internal database of renewals
  • Chasing Back Order items and updating clients (or Senior Account Manager where required)
  • Ensuring the companys CRM system is populated as required
  • Attending manufacturer training either on or off-site as required
  • Any other supportive task as required by Senior Account Managers & Sales Director

The position involves far more than the title implies. Previous experience would be helpful although not essential, as training will be given.

Training Sales

Blue Chip is looking to recruit a Training Sales Person for our Southampton office to add to its rapidly growing team.

You will be a highly motivated individual, capable of working under your own initiative as well as part of a competitive and enthusiastic team.

The objective of this role is to generate leads and close sales in our range of I.T. Training services. Any individual in this role will be required to work proactively, searching out leads and converting them into orders whilst maintaining their client base.

Previous experience is desirable, particularly in the area of Microsoft Technical training, although not essential, as training will be given.
